Colorado Feminist Metal Collective (CFMC) gathers every first Saturday at The Crypt for intentional community meetings centered around metal music, collective care, and feminist action. These gatherings are a space for femmes, non-binary, and queer folks to connect, process important issues affecting our scene, share safety resources, and build strategies for change. CFMC is rooted in creating an environment where everyone feel heard, respected, protected, and empowered.

In addition to monthly meetings, CFMC hosts community listening gatherings called Hexensabbats. These events spotlight albums created by artists of marginalized genders, offering space to deeply engage with their work while expanding our understanding of feminism within heavy music. Hexensabbats are part listening party, part discussion circle blending critical conversation, celebration, and solidarity to uplift voices that have historically been sidelined in the genre.

CFMC also maintains a visible presence in the local scene by tabling at shows, festivals, and community events. Through outreach, safety advocacy, and resource-sharing, we work to cultivate accountability and create a stronger sense of protection and belonging within the metal community. Our presence signals that marginalized fans and artists are not alone and that metal can and should be a space for everyone.
